Duties

• Lead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to governmental, non-profit, and public sector accounting standards.
• Manage the financial close process, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Implement and maintain internal controls aligned with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements to safeguard organizational assets.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and report writing to communicate key insights to stakeholders effectively.
• Manage regulatory reporting obligations and ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations.
• Utilize advanced financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms for efficient data analysis and reporting.
