Corporate Controller

Overview

As Corporate Controller, you’ll lead core accounting operations and deliver accurate, timely financial information that supports sound business decisions. You’ll oversee financial close processing, reporting, cash management, and regulatory compliance while strengthening accounting systems and controls. Duties

• Lead corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, and financial close processing, including balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury management, and cash management.
• Prepare financial reports, regulatory reporting, and clear financial report writing under applicable Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost accounting analysis, and account analysis.
• Lead and develop accounting and finance teams; maintain accounting systems, financial software, and financial compliance processes.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate accounting, financial accounting, technical accounting, and managing accounting teams; public accounting experience is useful.
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), regulatory compliance accounting, and financial concepts. Non-profit, governmental, or international accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and skills in account reconciliation, double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, and spreadsheet-based Excel data analysis.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero; experience with other accounting systems and financial software is welcome.
• Clear financial reporting and communication skills, with the ability to apply accounting standards and support effective financial management.

Pay: $127,000.00 - $175,090.00 per year
