Financial Controller

Overview

As Financial Controller, you’ll lead core accounting operations and turn accurate financial information into clear, useful insights. You’ll oversee financial close processing, reporting, cash management, and compliance while strengthening accounting systems and controls. Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Lead financial close processing; prepare financial statements, regulatory reporting, and clear financial report writing.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost accounting analysis, treasury management, and cash management.
• Manage and develop accounting teams; improve accounting systems, financial software, and spreadsheet-based Excel data analysis.
• Maintain financial compliance and regulatory compliance accounting across applicable standards, including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), as relevant.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated accounting experience across financial accounting, corporate accounting, general ledger reconciliation, account reconciliation, account analysis, and debits and credits.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial concepts, technical accounting, financial management, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero; familiarity with public, international, non-profit, or governmental accounting is valuable.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, financial compliance, and applicable accounting standards; experience managing finance teams is preferred.
• Skilled in spreadsheets and Excel data analysis, with the ability to communicate findings clearly and accurately.

Pay: $99,800.00 - $121,000.00 per year
