Within this position, you will apply technical accounting expertise, support critical SEC reporting activities, and help shape key business decisions! You'll collaborate with various departments, prepare detailed accounting analyses, and help ensure financial reporting remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with accounting and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting team in Richmond, VA, but are open to a remote working arrangement. This role supports technical accounting research, accounting policy application, and external reporting activities while collaborating with financial and operational partners across the organization. In this role, you'll gain exposure to sophisticated business transactions, SEC reporting processes, and technical accounting matters while building proficiency in applying accounting guidance to real-world business transactions.

What you will be doing

Supporting technical accounting analyses for business transactions, including researching accounting guidance, preparing supporting documentation, and helping develop well-supported accounting conclusions.

Assisting with the preparation and review of assigned disclosures and footnotes for SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 11-K.
