Lead Financial Advisor

Position Summary

Wexus Win Works LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Advisor / Principal to lead municipal and public sector financial advisory engagements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in public finance, debt management, capital planning, bond issuances, and financial strategy. This leadership role requires a trusted advisor capable of managing complex financial projects, developing innovative financing solutions, and building long-term relationships with government agencies, educational institutions, and public sector organizations.

The Lead Financial Advisor / Principal will oversee financial advisory engagements from planning through execution while providing strategic guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead financial advisor on municipal and public sector finance engagements.
• Develop and implement long-term debt management and capital financing strategies.
• Analyze debt capacity, debt service requirements, reserve fund requirements, and financing alternatives.
• Monitor outstanding debt portfolios and identify refunding or refinancing opportunities to maximize financial savings.
• Lead financial planning initiatives related to bond issuances, certificates of obligation, tax notes, and other municipal financing instruments.
• Prepare financial models, debt affordability analyses, cash flow projections, and capital improvement financing plans.
• Evaluate market conditions and recommend optimal financing structures and timing for debt issuance.
• Coordinate with bond counsel, underwriters, rating agencies, auditors, financial institutions, and other project stakeholders throughout financing transactions.
• Prepare executive reports, financial presentations, and strategic recommendations for leadership teams, governing boards, and decision-makers.
