Duties

• Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast market trends, cash flows, and investment opportunities using advanced techniques such as statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
• Conduct quantitative financial analysis to evaluate mergers & acquisitions, investment opportunities, and risk management strategies
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from SQL databases and other sources to support research initiatives and strategic decision-making
• Perform statistical modeling and applied research to identify patterns, correlations, and insights that influence financial strategies
• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and documentation that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Support risk analysis efforts by assessing market volatility, credit risks, and financial exposure using quantitative tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial software implementation, data integration, and process improvements

Experience

• Proven experience in financial analysis within investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields with a focus on quantitative methods
• Strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), financial modeling development, and valuation techniques
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis for research purposes, including proficiency with statistical software tools
• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, concepts such as cash flow analysis, forecasting methods, and risk assessment strategies
• Skilled in SQL databases for data collection and manipulation; familiarity with machine learning/AI-based analysis is highly desirable
• Excellent understanding of financial concepts like credit analysis, investment strategies, and financial report writing
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights through clear communication and detailed reporting
