Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. Duties

• Oversee comprehensive accounting functions including general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, and payroll processing using advanced accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other relevant regulations.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision, including balance sheet reconciliation and double-entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, cash management strategies, and account analysis to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, analysis, and presentations for executive leadership, board members, and external auditors.
• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard organizational assets while ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards or governmental accounting requirements.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting activities and ensure timely submission of financial statements in accordance with applicable laws.
