Financial Analyst

Job Summary

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll turn financial and operational data into clear insights that support sound business decisions. You’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic planning while preparing reports and interpreting financial statements. Your work will connect accounting detail with business priorities across sales, pricing, investment, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret financial statements, profit and loss (P&L) reports, and regulatory reporting; apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as relevant.
• Build and maintain financial models and projection models; support budgeting, forecasting, financial forecasting analysis, and corporate finance planning.
• Perform variance analysis, account analysis, cost accounting, and quantitative and Excel data analysis; explain findings in concise financial report writing.
• Use business intelligence tools, accounting systems, financial software, and financial reporting software to organize data and deliver accurate analysis.
• Your impact: By translating financial results into practical recommendations, you help leaders make informed decisions about costs, pricing, sales, and investment.

Experience

• Experience in finance, financial analysis, financial accounting, corporate accounting, or public accounting; familiarity with technical accounting and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) is valuable.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills, financial acumen, and understanding of financial concepts, financial reporting, and financial report interpretation.
• Ability to develop financial models, prepare statements, analyze forecasts, and communicate results clearly to varied audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and sound judgment; exposure to financial sales or financial management is a plus.

Pay: $66,800.00 - $80,600.00 per year
