Financial Analyst (Part-Time)

Overview

As a part-time Financial Analyst, you’ll turn financial data into clear insights that support sound business decisions. You’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic planning while collaborating with colleagues across finance and business teams. This role is paid; the part-time schedule and work arrangement can be discussed during the hiring process.

Duties

• Collect, validate, and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel, financial data analysis tools, and other financial software; apply data analysis skills, math, and quantitative analysis to identify trends.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, financial projection model development, and financial modeling; review profit and loss (P&L) results and interpret financial statements.

Qualifications

• Essential: Finance, accounting, corporate finance, or related experience; financial analysis, financial acumen, financial concepts, and strong Excel data analysis skills.
• Essential: Ability to develop financial models and apply quantitative financial analysis, quantitative research, and sound analytical judgment.
• Preferred: Experience with corporate accounting, cost accounting, governmental accounting, investment banking, or financial planning.
• Strong communication and data collection skills; able to explain financial findings clearly and accurately.

Pay: $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 per week
