The position

We are looking for a controller to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who can serve as a senior leader and subject matter expert on all accounting and financial management functions. The role provides oversight and strategic direction for financial reporting and auditing, compliance, treasury management, and all internal financial controls and processes.

The ideal candidate will have

* Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required * Eight years of progressive accounting or financial management experience + Including six years in a management or supervisory capacity + Additional years of progressive accounting or financial management experience may be considered in lieu of the six years management or supervisory capacity

What will you do?

• Provide senior level experience and oversight of related business functions and activities to ensure accounting and reporting compliance for financial management matters
• Interpret and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Governmental Accounting Standards Board standards, and other regulatory accounting requirements for management and staff to ensure proper accounting treatment, practices, and reporting in alignment with applicable laws and regulations
