Reports To

: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), at times reports to Chief Operating Officer

FLSA Status

: Exempt, 45 to 50 hours/ week. Month end, Yearend, annual audit season 50 to 60 hours/ week. Weekend work as needed to meet deadlines and during production season.

Location

Onsite at HQ, willing to travel to plant sites as needed

Position Overview

The Controller will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions of the organization including accounting, financial planning and analysis, risk management, treasury, tax, and investor relations. This position will be critical in helping the CEO shape Moody Dunbar, Inc.'s strategic financial direction, ensuring long-term financial health, and driving operational efficiency. As an officer of Moody Dunbar, Inc., they will demonstrate integrity, humility, work ethic and critical thinking skills while representing our organization. They will learn the position from the ground up and be willing to learn the details of this role and our organization.

As Controller, you will play an essential role in managing financial risk, preparing financial reports, and optimizing the overall financial performance of the company.
