Role Summary

* Lead and manage finance and accounting operations, including general accounting, cost accounting, payroll, AR/AP, fixed assets, and month-end close * Oversee preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts * Develop and maintain robust internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance * Partner with senior leadership on capital expenditures, supplier negotiations, and contract/MSA reviews * Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support growth and expansion strategy * Manage audits and external reporting requirements * Build, coach, and mentor accounting/finance staff, setting goals and performance metrics * Collaborate across departments to align financial processes with company operations and strategy

Team Structure

* Member of the Executive Team * Direct reports across accounting and finance staff * Interfaces with CEO, CFO, General Manager, and plant leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA highly preferred) * 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with 5+ years as Controller * Manufacturing or chemical industry background required; forest products or biomass experience strongly preferred * Proven expertise in general and cost accounting, financial reporting...
