Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize profitability and efficiency.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other regulatory frameworks.
• Lead risk management efforts by conducting thorough risk analysis, ensuring adherence to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls, COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks, and other internal controls.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize working capital.
• Direct revenue management, profit & loss analysis, cost control initiatives, and expense management to enhance financial performance.
• Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities seamlessly into the organization’s financial systems.
• Collaborate with business development teams on market analysis, strategic planning, and forecasting to support growth initiatives.
• Supervise finance teams responsible for corporate finance, governmental accounting where applicable, payroll management, and cost accounting.
• Utilize advanced financial software tools for modeling, analysis, and reporting to inform executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles with extensive supervisory responsibilities in complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards along with ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines.
• Demonstrated expertise in SOX compliance, COSO frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Extensive background in corporate finance activities such as budgeting, forecasting, tax accounting, revenue cycle management, and cost control.
• Proficiency with financial software systems and advanced financial modeling techniques.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Excellent negotiation skills paired with strategic thinking for business development opportunities including mergers & acquisitions.
• Strong leadership qualities with experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Deep understanding of governmental accounting standards where relevant; familiarity with supply chain finance is a plus.
