We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and forward-thinking Vice President of Finance to lead the organization’s financial operations, strategic planning, and financial management functions with precision and executive leadership. The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s financial direction, optimizing financial resources, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting standards. This executive leader will work closely with the CEO, executive leadership team, and department heads to provide strategic financial insights, guide business decisions, and maximize long-term organizational value.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support organizational priorities, drive profitability, improve financial performance, and advance long-term business growth.

Financial Planning and Analysis

Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Financial Operations Management

Direct the organization’s financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general financial administration.

Budgeting and Cost Control

Lead the development and management of annual operating budgets, monitor expenditures, analyze financial performance, and implement cost-control strategies to maximize financial efficiency.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial statements, management reports, and financial disclosures while maintaining compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial requirements.

Cash Flow and Capital Management

Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, capital allocation, and financial resource optimization to maintain financial stability and support business expansion.

Risk Management and Internal Controls

Identify and mitigate financial risks, strengthen internal control systems, establish financial policies and procedures, and safeguard the organization’s financial assets.

Executive Collaboration

Partner closely with the CEO, executive leadership, and department heads to provide financial insights, evaluate business opportunities, assess financial implications, and support strategic corporate decisions.

Financial Performance Monitoring

Establish and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate revenue, profitability, operating expenses, and financial trends, and recommend corrective actions to improve business performance.

Process Optimization

Lead financial process improvements, implement effective financial management systems, enhance reporting capabilities, and leverage technology to improve accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting professionals while fostering accountability, collaboration, professional development, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance, accounting, financial management, corporate finance, or a closely related field, with significant experience in senior financial leadership roles.

Leadership Track Record

Proven experience leading finance and accounting teams, overseeing complex financial operations, and managing organizational financial functions within a growing or established business.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required. An MBA, Master’s degree in Finance, or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.

Financial Management Expertise

Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, financial controls, and corporate financial strategy.

Accounting and Regulatory Knowledge

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, tax compliance, internal controls, and applicable financial regulations.

Financial Acumen

Exceptional capabilities in financial modeling, profitability analysis, cost management, capital allocation, financial risk assessment, and resource optimization.

Strategic and Analytical Skills

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

Communication Skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial performance, strategic recommendations, and financial forecasts to C-suite executives, board members, and key stakeholders.

Leadership and Organizational Skills

Strong executive leadership, team development, organizational, and prioritization abilities, with a proven capacity to manage competing financial priorities and deliver measurable business results.

Technology Proficiency

Proficiency in financial management systems, accounting software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and advanced financial reporting and data analysis tools.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
