Treasury Analyst

Job Overview

As a Treasury Analyst, you’ll turn financial data into clear insights that support cash management, forecasting, and strategic planning. You’ll analyze cash flows, interpret financial statements, and develop financial models and projections to help teams make informed decisions. Your impact: Accurate cash flow analysis helps finance leaders plan liquidity and allocate resources with confidence.

Duties

• Collect, validate, and analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel, financial software, and other financial data analysis tools.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, financial reports, and written analysis covering cash flow, profit and loss, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain financial models and projection models; use pivot tables and, where applicable, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
• Build dashboards and data visualizations with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI; use Structured Query Language (SQL) as needed.
• Work with accounting, corporate finance, and business teams to review accounting systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and tools such as Hyperion or Bloomberg.

Experience

• Background in finance, accounting, corporate accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis; governmental accounting knowledge is also relevant.
• Skills in Excel data analysis, quantitative analysis, math, data collection, business analysis, and financial statement interpretation.
• Familiarity with financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
• Experience with analytics, data analysis, data visualization, and financial report writing is valuable.
• Investment banking experience and knowledge of corporate finance, quantitative financial analysis, or quantitative research are preferred; equivalent relevant experience is welcome.

Pay: $71,700.00 - $86,500.00 per year
