Position Summary

Great Basin College (GBC) is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking Controller to join our leadership team. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Operations (VPFO), the Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity, accountability, and strategic stewardship of the College’s resources.

This position provides leadership and oversight for GBC’s financial operations, including Accounting, Disbursements, Student Accounts, Travel, Cashiering, Budgeting, Grant Financial Management, and related business services. The Controller serves as a trusted advisor to senior administration, supports institutional decision-making, and fosters a culture of compliance, accuracy, and service excellence.
