Responsibilities

HYBRID: This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of any of the Mayo Clinic campuses for on-site expectations based on business needs.

The Revenue Analyst III serves as a key analytical resource supporting Professional Billing reimbursement accuracy through contract analysis, payment variance review, expected reimbursement validation, and payer policy interpretation. This role is responsible for identifying reimbursement discrepancies, analyzing contract performance, supporting contract implementation and refinement efforts, and partnering with Contracting & Payor Relations, Revenue Cycle Systems, and operational stakeholders to ensure payments align with contractual terms and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will develop subject matter expertise in Professional Billing reimbursement methodologies, payer policies, provider fee schedules, and Epic contract configuration while supporting reimbursement investigations, trend analysis, and recovery initiatives.
