Portfolio Manager – Renewable Energy Investment Fund

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Portfolio Manager to lead the development and management of a Renewable Energy Investment Fund. Duties

• Develop and refine the fund's investment thesis and strategy across renewable energy and adjacent energy-transition opportunities.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of renewable energy investments by conducting detailed credit analysis and financial modeling to assess viability and risk profiles.
• Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with fund objectives, ensuring balanced portfolio construction that maximizes returns while managing risk exposure.
• Monitor ongoing project performance through quantitative financial analysis tools, adjusting investment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Conduct industry research and stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting renewable energy investments.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funding for project development and operational needs while maintaining compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on portfolio performance, risk assessments, and market outlooks for internal stakeholders and external investors.
• Cultivate relationships with project developers, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other key partners to facilitate deal flow and strategic collaborations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in investment management within the renewable energy sector or related industries such as private equity or asset management.
• Strong background in credit analysis, financial modeling development, and quantitative financial analysis techniques.
• Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including cash management, risk management, portfolio construction, and financial data analysis tools such as Bloomberg or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with industry regulations affecting renewable energy investments and financial services compliance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, perform risk assessments, and develop actionable insights for investment decisions.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Technical proficiency in investment management software, accounting principles, underwriting processes, and financial planning tools.
• A background in finance-related fields such as investment banking or commercial lending analysis is highly desirable.
