Role and Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design efforts across investment data transformation and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) initiatives.
• Partner with investment operations, accounting, data management, and technology stakeholders to define future-state operating models, data models, and governance frameworks.
• Design scalable investment data architectures supporting front-, middle-, and back-office workflows, including security master, reference data, pricing, positions, transactions, and reporting domains.
• Lead the implementation and integration strategy for modern investment data platforms and EDM solutions such as GoldenSource, NeoXam, Eagle EDM, Aladdin Data Cloud, Clearwater, SimCorp, and related ecosystems.
• Design and document business requirements, functional specifications, data flows, mappings, lineage, and transformation logic across investment data platforms.
• Advise clients on security master design, reference data management, reconciliation frameworks, data quality controls, and investment data governance processes.
• Partner closely with investment data operations teams to design workflows, operating models, and controls that support scalable investment data management.
• Define reporting, visualization, and downstream analytics strategies, including integration with reporting and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and related technologies.
• Lead enterprise data migrations, platform rationalization initiatives, and target-state architecture design across investment management ecosystems.
• Act as the strategic bridge between client business teams, operations teams, architects, developers, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design discussions with senior client stakeholders.
• Provide architectural oversight and implementation guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
• Support proposal development, solutioning discussions, and consulting practice growth initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience within investment management technology, investment operations, investment accounting, investment data management, or investment data consulting.
• Deep understanding of investment management workflows across front-, middle-, and back-office functions.
• Significant experience implementing or architecting modern investment data platforms and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions.
• Deep expertise in security master, reference data management, investment data operations, reconciliation, data quality, and governance frameworks.
• Experience designing investment data models, integrations, migrations, and target-state operating models.
• Experience working directly with investment data operations teams and business stakeholders to design scalable investment data workflows and controls.
• Experience supporting reporting, visualization, and downstream analytics platforms, including Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar technologies.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical and operational solutions.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and client communication skills.
• Experience working closely with engineering and development teams within complex implementation environments.
• Strong documentation, solution design, and workshop facilitation capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within consulting organizations or large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern investment data architectures.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, or modern data warehouse ecosystems.
• Agile/Scrum experience preferred.
• Experience supporting asset managers, asset owners, pensions, insurance firms, hedge funds, or alternative investment organizations.

Compensation Range

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $220,000 annually, plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including candidate experience, skillset, geographic location, market data, internal equity, and overall alignment to the role and level.
