Financial Controller

Overview

As a Financial Controller, you’ll lead core accounting operations and turn accurate financial information into clear, useful insights. You’ll oversee financial close processing, reporting, cash management, and compliance while guiding the accounting team. Your impact: Reliable reporting and disciplined financial controls help leaders make informed decisions and support responsible stewardship of organizational resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead general ledger accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Manage financial close processing, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and financial report writing.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost accounting analysis, treasury management, and cash management.
• Maintain accounting systems and financial software; use spreadsheets and Excel data analysis to review results.
• Oversee financial reporting and regulatory compliance accounting, including applicable GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong accounting knowledge, financial acumen, and experience with financial accounting, corporate accounting, financial management, and managing accounting teams.
• Required: Ability to apply financial concepts, debits and credits, account reconciliation, and financial compliance practices.
• Preferred: Experience in public accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, international accounting, technical accounting, regulatory reporting, and cost accounting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other accounting software; experience with accounting systems and financial software.

Pay: $107,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
