Financial Controller

SavCon is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, accounting management, and internal controls. This individual will play a key role in supporting strategic business decisions and improving the efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning.

Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and accounting standards.

Develop and maintain effective internal financial controls.

Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors and tax professionals.

Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management.

Monitor financial risks and identify opportunities to improve profitability.

Supervise and support accounting staff.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Implement and improve accounting procedures, systems, and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a Financial Controller or similar role.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
