Financial Controller

Job Summary

As Financial Controller, you’ll lead core accounting operations and turn accurate financial information into clear, useful insights. You’ll oversee financial reporting, close processing, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory compliance while supporting sound financial decisions. Duties

• Lead general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Manage financial close processing and prepare financial reports, regulatory reporting, and clear financial report writing.
• Oversee cash and treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cost accounting analysis.
• Maintain accounting systems and financial software; use spreadsheets and Excel data analysis to support accurate, timely work.
• Guide accounting and finance teams while strengthening financial compliance and regulatory compliance accounting.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, financial management, and managing accounting teams.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, general ledger reconciliation, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with applicable standards and practices, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX); experience with technical accounting, public accounting, or international accounting is valuable.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero; knowledge of non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus.
• Bring financial acumen, sound understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to communicate findings clearly.

Pay: $107,000.00 - $131,000.00 per year
