Summary

The Financial Analyst is responsible for protecting company revenue by managing and analyzing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process while driving financial oversight of trade investments and customer deductions. This role serves as a key business partner across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure revenue is accurately recognized, customer deductions are validated, trade spending delivers expected returns, and cash flow is optimized.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle, from EDI order processing and invoicing through cash application, collections, and month-end close.
• Apply customer payments daily, accurately matching complex deduction-heavy remittances while ensuring every short payment is researched rather than automatically written off.
• Monitor and resolve EDI order and invoice exceptions to maintain a highly automated invoicing process.
• Lead collection efforts on delinquent accounts, balancing strong customer relationships with disciplined cash collection practices.
• Maintain customer master data, including payment terms, credit limits, and credit reviews for new and existing customers.
• Complete all accounts receivable month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, reserve calculations, bad debt analysis, and deduction-related accruals.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
