Performs financial activities in support of various functions, e.g., budgeting, financial planning, revenue and expenditure monitoring against budget, reconciliations and changes, and consolidation. Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems and generates reports. Performs basic to moderately complex statistical cost and financial analysis of reports and data and prepares reports for management to improve financial performance and compliance.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Interpret data to evaluate and determine past financial performance and/or make financial projections for management who must make overall business decisions.
• Provide interpretation of accounts, methods, and records for management.
• Conduct studies of cost and financial results of business activities; recommend adjustments and other cost improvement measures.
• Review costs and perform cost benefit analysis for projects and/or programs.
• Produce financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis.
• Provide reports, findings, and recommendations to management.
• Assist with preparation of special studies, reports, and analyses.
• Recommend budget adjustments and other cost improvement measures.
• Recommend quality control and process improvements regarding the overall business process.
