Finance Lead/Controller @ Environmental Hedge Fund

Braeswood Carbon is a San Francisco-based hedge fund/commodities trading firm focused on complex environmental / regulatory markets such as carbon cap and trade permits, renewable energy certificates, financial transmission rights and renewable fuels credits.

Available Roles

We aim to build a lean, highly productive initial operations team by hiring versatile, entrepreneurial performers, leveraging external vendors and technology and giving each team member a wide mandate.

As our Finance Lead/Controller, you would initially oversee performance, tax and audit for our investment funds and management entities and eventually gain exposure to all of our business operations ranging from LP relations to HR & IT to legal and compliance.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: CPA, prior tax/audit at Big 4, fund admin, hedge fund or commodity firm
• Skills: partnership tax/accounting, fund reporting, ETRM/OMS/PMS, coding
• Qualifications: good communication, work ethic, high integrity

Pay: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
