Reporting to the Group Controller, the Division Controller oversees certain day-to-day functions of accounting as well as policy development and the monthly close process. We are looking to add a Division Controller to our team!

REPORTS TO

This role reports directly to the Group Controller of a high-growth pet care innovator poised to transform pet services nationwide.

PAY: $120K - $140K /salary + 15% Bonus

CORE RESPONSIBILITES

• Month-end close, financial statement preparation, G/L, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting
• Research and implement best-in-class accounting software solutions.
• Annual budget and budgeting forecasting
• Financial statement management
• Will drive the financial architecture for our emerging two-sided platform that connects pet parents with service providers, requiring expertise in marketplace accounting such as gross vs. net revenue presentation under ASC 606, payment processor reconciliations, escrow liability management
• Accounting for internally developed software
• Your leadership will ensure GAAP compliance, robust internal controls, and scalable systems to support rapid growth in both segments.
• You will partner cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to design accounting policies for new features, implement ERP enhancements, and manage audit relationships and tax strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
