Job Description

Summary

The Accounting & Finance role is responsible for providing accounting and finance services, including the production of financial reports, creation of business plans, writing business assessments, maintenance of internal books and records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. The role is designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's and our clients reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. The role is also responsible for all aspects of financial risk (Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, and Capital Risk) which includes the measurement of compliance and cash management.

Role & Responsibilities

● Planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions

● Establishing and implementing processes and procedures

● Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

● Coordinating and preparing financial statements

● Coordinating activities of external auditors

● Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

● Managing the budget process

● Implementing accounting software and supporting database, as needed
